Terms of sale

These general terms and conditions of sale govern sales made on the GÖTA website, published by GOTA (EURL with share capital of €1,000, SIREN 992 795 906, registered office 6 rue Panissod, 69100 Villeurbanne, France).

Article 1 — Products

GÖTA offers limited-edition pieces (clothing, objects, paper) produced in controlled runs, numbered or not depending on the item. Once an edition is sold out, it is not restocked unless stated otherwise.

Some pieces are made to order. The production time and expected delivery date are shown on the product page; the piece is shipped as soon as it is finished.

Article 2 — Prices

Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included. GÖTA may change its prices at any time; products are invoiced at the price in force when the order is confirmed.

For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties and import taxes may be charged by the destination country on delivery. They are paid by the recipient.

Article 3 — Order and payment

An order is confirmed once paid in full through the secure payment methods offered on the website. A confirmation email is sent to the address provided by the customer.

Article 4 — Delivery

Orders are shipped from Lyon, usually within 48 working hours and at the latest within 5 working days, in GÖTA Studio packaging, to the address given by the customer or to a pick-up point. Made-to-order pieces are shipped as soon as they are finished, on the date stated on their product page. Delivery times may vary depending on the carrier and the destination; internationally, allow 7 to 12 days with Colissimo International (tracked).

Article 5 — Right of withdrawal

In accordance with articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the customer has 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, without giving any reason or paying any penalty, except, where applicable, return costs.

To exercise this right, the customer must notify their decision by email to benjamin.beau@vangart.fr before the 14-day period expires, then return the product within 14 days of that notification, in its original packaging, unworn and in perfect condition.

Article 6 — Returns and refunds

Once the return has been received and checked, the refund is made within 14 days, using the same payment method as the original order. Return costs are paid by the customer, unless the error or defect is attributable to GÖTA.

Article 7 — Legal warranties

All products sold benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).

Article 8 — Liability

GÖTA cannot be held liable for damage resulting from misuse of the products or from force majeure.

Article 9 — Personal data

Data collected with an order is needed to process it and is handled in accordance with the regulations in force (GDPR). The customer has a right of access, rectification and deletion of their data, which can be exercised at benjamin.beau@vangart.fr.

Article 10 — Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the customer may use conventional mediation or any other alternative dispute resolution method before taking legal action.
